Finally..after 2 years!

Well chaps, finally, after 2 years, I have my 5 off my folks path and in my own home. Cant tell you how much I've missed it and to have it home is brilliant! I'll be taking the task of getting it back on the road so any help would be appreciated! I'm a little out of touch with where the parts are from these days and who's selling what etc!

First example is Im after a new boot lock with key...Mine just wont open...Thats just the start of it..!

I look forward to having the GT back this year and attending events in both the Renaults ( with the help of the wife bringing one) so fingers crossed! Like I said peeps, any standard parts going please let me know...

The more the merrior! :wasntme: Shall we have a meeting/party at the same time? :D..The plan is to take alook over the coming couple of weeks and see what she needs exactly then put the feelers out for parts...Perhaps it might be worth organising a weekend where a few of you can come over and once complete we can just drink beer and tings...:agree:..A possible plan is brewing!

Well...After 2 years (and 7 months) I finally managed to gather some of the parts I needed to get the old girl running and got to work on her today...

At precisely 2-30pm after various things changed and tightened, can you believe, without any hesitation the old girl fired!!!!!!!!!!:D:wasntme::smokin::laugh::agree::c ool:

CANT STOP GRINNING...:D

Ive since had several trips round the block and everything seems to be bob-on! :agree:

Love it!! How good is it that a little car that hasnt been started in over 2 and a half years takes a small amount of effort and fires...:worship::niceone:

Me and the missus will be going out in it this evening (back roads) as she's never even been in it! :burnrubber:

Mine was off the road for almost 2 and a half years untill just before the rtoc day at the pod, it felt awsome the first time I took it down the road, I had a huge smile on my face!:D
