anyone had a renault safrane bi-turbo or still got one?
these look like a great car to have as a daily but was wondering what they are like to live with, and where you can find them?
bi-turbo 4wd 260bhp 270lb/ft looks like a laguna sounds ace!:D

I'm sure there was one or two in the club at one point? As far as I'm aware they weren't made in this country though.....? :(

Yep maseri made one he speced it up to the same as a bi turbo they were not built for uk , the guy lived in Liverpool who built it ,was a nice car with fancy electrics like the wing mirrors dipped when you reverised.

It's a 3l A610 prv with a couple of small turbos ,0-60 about 7 secs . Heads are pretty **** ,you'd be better off dropping a GTA std lump in once we've sorted it ;)
Twin is the way with the PRV though but the Saf just doesn't make the most of it .Two new crated lumps were sold recently to UK buyers .One is sitting in a underground carpark in London and the other went to NI and got mostly binned apart from the block .....

But after that 1/4 mile the evo has to stop and fill up with more fuel :D

Yes it would
It's a PRV and #1 there are no off the shelf bits and #2 it's a PRV .
There is a GTA with a bi-turbo engine in it but he binned the twin setup and went back to single ala 610 but running Adaptronic .
Mr Scoff mapped it at my place for the guy, I never got to have a go in it before they left so can't really say how it compared to the my Adapt GTA .
