In pic 1 - red and white . brown and red , little white wire and small yellow!
The R/W and B/R are cut, there a four wire from Immobiliser, One has been joined to each of the cut to join curcuit.
The R/W wire is at the point of ignition when its crank's engine and suplys ecu with live feed, From looking a the service note's.
The B/R seems to be earth.
It a cobra Immobiliser, 10 years +

Question is would old immobiliser affect running of ecu car ?
I think so and i belive its whats causing mams car to run poor amongst ather things.
After having a look i have defo found and fix one problem. hopes it hasnt fooked ecu
The Red and White wire on back of ignition had come loss, was still attached, just solder had broke and it was able to move (rattle about). I have fixed that, Which for sure wont have done anything any good and porb's cause a load of things to break in prosses
I'll get there. You watch :D
but the struggle is mam whats expert after expert to look and the probs still there after two years and plenty of parts. My answer on my GTT was to take Immobiliser of and put my own on ;) My gtt like it
Any help/advise/veiws mucho appreciated regards dave :coffee:

Please somone comment :scratch::scratch::scratch::scratch:
If the alarm is shot it may affect running, just the typical install from a few years back, looks a bit bodgy but should work ok.
Bypass it & see if you think its a problem!

Cheers Brigsy ;) Am getting really annoyed with mams car not running right. her husband keeps doing this and that to no avail.
the cars had few other little faulty things replaced. now the only problem were having is TPS is all over the place.
somthing somewere is unstable, maybe radio, to be fair i want to put all wiring back to how it was/should be, it had an idiot fit the cd player recentley. and the alarm, but thats old and yes maybe passed it.
got full wiring dirgram.
Maybe Ecm/ecu is fooked but i doubt that as it works one min then unstable the next its only tps volages were having problem with now after fixing other things.
Just having a rant, I am pi$$ right of not being allowed to Fix or have a go, after months of watching and worring of what go's pop next, with it getting drove around not working right :(
Seeing fuel pump , tps , temp sensors , quite a few dodgy electric connections clean or replaced.
I have found several bad connection and little faults and fixed. 1 - W/R wire from were its soldered to ignition had come loose, 2 - plugs on a few of wires to coil pack need a clean etc.
But it seems it just keeps creating and getting more problems....
