engine mount help!

right think im going to pay my motor factors a visit tomorrow about a clutch,lol, the only other item i need for my volvo conversion is the engine mount, i know a renault 5 gtx one will fit but i cant find one anywhere, i was wondering what other mount will work??is there another more common reanult i may be able to source a mount from?? thanks

what do you mean you cant source one anywhere ?????? Have you thought about going to Renault direct, they do sell Renault parts you know ;) :D:cooter::)

s'times when i cant be arsed with the travel my local m'factors can get parts from reno with a tiny % on top,not much an cheaper than driving there,unless i wna spin in the 5!!!

i know that,lol, the renault garage is many miles away from where i live, thought i may be able to find 1 on here,might have no choice but to go to renault.

I couldn't find (or be bothered to find!) a mount either so I re-drilled the GT mount to fit on. I think the top hole is in the right place and you need to re-drill the bottom 2. You have to grind a bit out of the edge of the mount next to the right hand hole to clear the bolt head, it's easy stuff :cool:

oh wickid, i think ill have a go at that at the weekend, so does the engine sit strait, ect with a drilled mount??

i drilled mine like scoff said but if you do want an origional mount mike aka phase i 16v turbo sells em.
