now in my volvo conversion i am using my original gtt box but i cant find a performance clutch under volvo but wanted to know if the volvo flywheel will take a uprated gtt clutch?? any help appreciated.

The 'uprated' gt clutch is actually a Volvo clutch anyway so yes it will fit on.

Do you know what size clutch you have in your volvo engine mate? They did 2 sizes, 200mm (gt size) and 215mm

erm im not sure, ill have to measure it at the weekend, which part is bigger?? the friction plate face??

Both parts are bigger, the bolt pattern on the flywheel will be different too as it will be wider out.
Measure the friction plate and you'll know which one you have.

ok, so if i measure it how does it help me order new one as on ebay they dont state the size that im going to measure, so if it bigger one i have to order volvo clutch and smaller one i have to order renault gtt??is this right, im confused,lol.

You'll have to check which one they have mate.

If you have the bigger 215mm one its not a problem, see if you can get the 215mm Valeo clutch.
The 'uprated' 5 gt clutch is a volvo clutch so if you order a Valeo Volvo one or an 'uprated' gt one you should get the same one.

Measure the friction plate mate, need the diameter of it.

hi mate, my clutch is 215 mm across the whole friction plate, which clutch do you think best to order then?? thanks

If you have the bigger 215mm one its not a problem, see if you can get the 215mm Valeo clutch.

You'll need the Volvo 215mm clutch mate, the gt one won't fit on.
