Hey all, owned my 5 for a few months now and she is a beast...currently giving the car a little TLC as she has just come out of a cold winter and ready for the summer.
had the odd little problem here and there but hey who don't with an old car. anyway just to say hi, i am currently in canvey island and i believe i am one of the only people on the island to own a 5gtt. looking forward to the meets hopefully a bit closer to home. scott

It's so much fun when your R5 comes out of hibernation, so many problems. My drivers side door lock has seized up and can't be opened with the plipper or the key! My passenger side is de-locked so I had to get in through the boot! :brickwall:

Tried to jump it but battery is dead, whoopie doo - welcome to the club!

Yeah I bought the car with the mods but mainly because of low mileage and a good solid engine...quite like the mods on it though could have been done a bit better so gradually improving it my self. Interior needs a little work but will soon be looking good. Any ideas where I can get a new choke lever as snapped mine when getting out the car...?

Glad to hear your not just going to sit on it! What sort of plans have you got in mind? Any more pics?
