Gents what's the best way to change the front wheel bearing on my 5 how hard is it thanks ???

wheel off, undo 30mm hub nut bolt, then lower balljoint pinch bolt and remove 16mm nut on track rod end. then the 2x 18mm strut to hub bolts, remove caliper carrier bolts and tie up caliper so its not straining brake hose, remove disc securing screws (if even there) and remove disc, knock out trackrod end and lift hub off bottom ball joint. then push driveshaft splines out of hub and remove hub from car

you then either need a press, or a mate with one to press out the old and press in the new bearing, making sure that you remove all the bits of the old bearing as it will most likely come out in pieces.

refitting is reverse of removal but remember to pump brake pedal before driving off and check wheel nuts after first 50miles
