tdc is the top dead centre sensor you will see it on the top of the gearbox where it meets the engine just over the flywheel. check that it is still bolted in place and that the lead that goes from tdc sensor to the aei unit (in scuttle area) is ok. did you remove the leads or the rotor drive gear at all?
leads plugs ignition systems fine, its absolutley reeking of petrol took plugs out and there soaking so its definetley getting to much fuel
it started when we towed it and bumped it but when i accelerated it died

has the carb still got the idle jet in it? are you defo getting a spark then?
i tried my spare carb exactly the same thing happens, maybe both my carbs are shafted ? yeah defo got a spark took lead off and put screw driver in and got a good spark

i would just go over everything i had changed and double check it. plug gaps, rotor arm, leads, etc... check your valve clearances also.
i think this is what happened to mine once, it was a relay for the fuel pump? i think, i was told to take one that supplied the perc fan and replace the one for the pump (or was i a regulator)and it worked, car was just turning over and over till then and once i swapped it broooooom, needed a new relay. least i think thats how i was  sorry i can be more specific/help

Have alook down the carb and see if the accelerator pump jet is squirting nicely when the throttle is operated.
