Wot does it do hesitate? It could be the actuator?

It could be the actuator?

:agree: Sounds like a poss actuator prob.

It boosts upto about 14psi pulling to start with then it stays on 14psi but seems to start hissing and stop pulling.

if you need a new actuator i got a new stanard t2 actuator and a new t25 single port actuator :)

did you pressure test the pipes? after i fitted mikalor clamps and done them up as tight as i could i still had nasty leakes after i pressure tested the pipework.

Have changed the boost pipes both carb to IC and IC to Turbo, ones on the car were fine before the rebuild, mine were fine off my old set up but neither cured the problem.

Changed the IC for a known working one.

Checked all small pipework near carb and no leaks.

Guessing it must be the Actuator. I have a spare so will try that next.

Ah now thats a different story, if its holding 14psi then soubt it'll be the actuator, a leak in the pipework or intercooler will be more likely.

After market boost gauge reads 14psi put car feels like its only 8psi, boost builds slowly and turbo sounds like its spun up 1 second before the car slowly reacts..............

Feels like leak symptoms (i.e. hesitant), but can't find a leak :scratch::scratch:

Whats the preload on the actuator like?

Whats the preload on the actuator like?

Strong! If that's what you mean, the turbo is a KTR 230 so is good for the boost.
