m59 gearbox

i have a volvo gearbox i was playing wth today, tried to put the speedo senser from an old jb3 i had lying about. i had one on the volvo box but the plug on it was all mashed up so i thought id put the good one from the jb3 on it. they looked identical exceop it was like the gtt one was to big for the hole on the m59 box :scratch: help!

Thats strange as i've fitted the gt speedo sensor into a volvo box before.

might just be me to scared incase i broke it trying to get it in. but the one ioriginally took out and is shagged slide in and out quite easily, may be just a bit more force needed but i dint think they was supposed to be that tight.:scratch:

A little bit of copper grease goes a long way;)

What is it you need to do to convert the box from electric to cable for my speedo? There is a hole there for a cable, but it looks like there is a bung in.
