just seen these cams on the cam wizard chart and i look for some feed back from people that have used them before and what turbo was you using? as these cam have lots of lift i take they work better at higher boost level or gas? is it worth getter strong valve springs made. i'm thinking stronger than the uprated one's for the 285 cam?

thanks allan

the lairier ones like the 564 probably work better in low boost, racing car situations. The overlap wont tolerate a lot of boost. Andy would be the better man to comment though, that grind had something to do with him.

thinking of using for drag use. when we say lot's of boost are we talking 27psi+? what should i be looking for in a cam for gas?

I think both will not ideal for drag racing. By alot of boost I was thinking 20psi or more. You want good lift, moderate duration and not a lot of overlap. :)

if you were to use the piper 390, i'd run a 0.49 or 0.64 (preferably) - less backpressure?

yeah what i was the route i was going to take as i have .49 and .64 here to try.

i looking for cam better suited to the drag strip. i have the 285 thats a good all rounder cam i was looking for some a bit more wilder?
