How do i sort a sticking accelerator pump???

Think my accelerator pump is sticking, so its time i gave it a clean.

Do I have to take the carb off to do this??

what is the normal procedure??? :scratch:

Get soem wd40 lashed on the acc arm/linkage mate, should sort it.

You might also find it's all gunked up where the pump diaphragm nipple locates into the hole/slot where the arm pivots.

If that's the case, remove the 4 screws, watch out for the diaphragm spring pinging out (if the diaphragm hasn't 'stuck' to the body), then give the nipple/hole/arm a good clean out.
