View Full Version : Brake Pads
Guys can you please give me your opinions on the best brake pads. Cost / performance etc. I have the enlarged front set up and a friend runs Carbon Lorraine pads which are impressive.
Are these the ones to go for or are there any others you advise?
Thanks
from my personal experience the one to avoid is ebc green stuff ive had them twice absoloutely terrible. carbon lorraine ive not used but they are very very popular with peugeot 205/106 owners they are super expensive though but never heard a bad word about them and you dont have to bed them in on the top ones. other than that ferodo ds2500's are excellent so are mintex 1144's

carbon lorrains rc6 get my vote if you want to go on track, if not the rc5 or ds2500 are a very good fast road pad :agree:
Adey, is it rc6's on CPP? Very impressed with them, where did you get them?
DC2500's are £69 on Camskill
IIRC, its only rc5`s that are available for the 5GTT, :)

Nope, but places like Kamracing are actually cheaper than CL direct
