hi all looking for some help with buying a nitrous oxide kit.
can some one tell me what the difference is with a direct port kit for carb's or a direct port kit for efi?
the only thing that i can think of is the fuel pressure solenoid due to the fuel pressure be higher on the efi kit?
any info i would be very great full. thanks allan

What sort of work would you need on an engine to withstand nitrous use?
I think the only difference will be that you'll be provided with a different set of jets. Nitrous kits for carbs normally give you a 1:1 ratio of jet sizes. So if you're putting a 25 size jet in the Nitrous solenoid you'll use a 25 size jet in the fuel one to.

do the know what the ratio is for the efi kit?
thanks allan
I use a NOS kit,
I would personally stay clear of WON.
You change the N/F using your jets or fuel pressure.

How come the WON avoidance out of interest?

Ive had a WON about 7 years ago, lines blow off a couple times, and the quality just wasnt anything near the cheaper (less than half the price) COLD FUSION KIT from USA..
i would bet somewhere around the 1400-1500hp :agree:

Dont forget tho Nos isnt flammable.... its the fuel lines on the wet kit that is when using cheapo plastic lines.. Things mite have changed over the years, also its the cost that stops me when i can buy a better kit (IMO) for less than half the price from USA..
It's not flammable but I cant imagine it's helpful to driver concentration if he's struggling to breath and freezing his tits off lol.
I'm usually slightly skeptical of American engineering but I guess when it's simple stuff their "heavy duty is best" philosophy can work well.

the pipes are rated at 70F the same as the cable in the engine bay of most cars and pressure tested 450psi im sure if the kit is installed correctly you wouldnt have a problem..... benn running mine for 3 years with no probs
