side skirt

I noticed last night that my side skirt on my 5gtt is rather loose when moving it by hand it will move the whole length of the car. How are these hold on and how can i take it off i havent had chance to look as its pi**ing down.

Hi mate, there held on by clips at the top of the sill holding them in postion and 10mm underneath/ you may have to loosen the bottom of the wing moulding from the inside. Undo the the 10mm then you lift the sideskirt up and inwards to get them off. I think one of the guys who sell parts off here will sort you with everything you need to fix them.:)

thanks, just had a quick look before work and it seems to be held on firm at the back wheels and its loose and moveable at the front ones could it be that the clip has just broke away and it needs replacing.

:agree: the clip has prob broken or rusted away i had the same prob on mine got a set of 10 clips from Renault for about £5.00 direct:D cheaper than CGB anyway
