What a stupid petition!

A colleagues sister was hit and run on her bicycle yesterday and the driver was only caught due to having a front number plate.

No i fecking wont, say i get hit by a car, and the only picture of a cam are from front of car...... id be fecked off if they couldnt catch him/her/it....

What a terrific fail of an idea worthy of this.

tried and failed, i did this after being told it has to be visable from the front of the vehicle but got pulled about 24 hours after putting it on the road. police told me that it has to be mounted flat against the front bumper.

Also head that some insurance companys will only insure the parts of the car thats between the number plate (how true this is i dont know!)

They got one thing right on there though, motorbikes can speed through front facing cameras, get rid of those cameras they are pointless and the ones most likely to speed are bikers as well (% of numbers on road rather than quantity)
