does any know how the boys in the renault's got on with the esc this weekend?
and also how byr got on in the hks drag series?

Just got back... rained all sat, today was ok, Tuning didnt go as planned but came 3rd over all... Will post more up on Project thread soon...

Hi guys,

I was the only renault that made the trip, I took a bloody small knife to a rather large gun fight!!!! Was great fun racing the fast VW's with 500+hp.

I qualifed 9th out of 13. I was very pleased with that, how ever my car was lacking power and found my self 5mph down .

First run was a 12.80 (Spun bad through the 60ft)

Second Run was 12.74 ( 1.77 60ft ,but went flat in 3rd)

Third run last qualifer Run (bigger nitrous tune with a small nitrous to fuel change) a 12.57 , 60ft was a tenth off and still 5mph down.

That put me in 9th place.

I faced the very lovely Corrado of Mark Gunn's. I pulled a .0405 light and banged through the gears with no Black VW in sight....I thought wow i've got this... Untill Mark stormed passed with a win margin of 0.0544 , less than a foot i believe.

A brilliant class to be a part of and now i'm def putting the car on the dyno to find some hp.

I do really badly want an 11 now!!


Big Congrats to the Back yard guys....I'm sure you have all the HKS guys keeping an eye on your performance.:agree:

I like the way James' car is stated as lightweight and low budget...low budget it certainly is not :wasntme:

There was trouble at mill with the HKS boys .The last 1/8th wasn't that sticky and 4 went in the wall I'm told .My mates mate Gary Gooding being one of them :crap: Car not in good shape but he's OK apart from the obvious .
