Predator is still in my top 3 films ever. Not keen on the Pred Vs Alien rubbish, although the last one was pretty good.
I hope they don't feck it up because the first two proper Predator films are hard to follow.
Predator was perfection
you would never think it was made in 1987, still looks as fresh today as it was then

the first predator was the best one.loads of samples from that film were used for tunes back in the day. that new film looks like it will be scary lol.:)

Hopefully this film will let people new to Predator see something of quality rather than the garbage fox pumped out called AvP.

Finally went to see this at the Cinema last night!
as the orginal 'Predator' with Arnie is my favourite film ever i expected this to be sh1t...
I can confirm it was quite simply awesome, the best action/thriller/horror film I have seen in a long time.

the old one was amazing but you won ever see the arnie,stallone, van dam guys rinse out blockbuster action films like that anymore..
i watched it last night and was finally happy they took it seriously, was a good old shoot em up where theres no happy endings, people's are gonna die:D
the film was simple, but the best ones are..
i thought the new universal soldier was great, back to the old skool, as was the rambo.. you dont get them like that very often..
i stuck on punisher war zone thinking it was gonna be pony, but that Ray Stevenson fella turned out to be pretty bada55 in it.. i like it for the simple reason it was a bit hardcore..:cool:
have yet to see this so cant comment..
but can only say as films go my fav is the lost boys,an the follow up
was new an different to say the least,but times an techniques move on...
the old ones are the best!!!
imagine a remake of pulp fiction in todays times...:D

going friday night cant wait.
At the time I thought it was pretty good, but it all got very predictable after a while
Saw it last week. Not a patch on the original. Am resigned to the fact we've been saturated with the genre. I'm not sure it could ever be as good as it was because we've seen it all so they are struggling for originality and the new ideas are not very inspiring. Plus the story was full of gaping holes. Really, really gutted.
The only time the film became really engaging was when Fishburne arrived. There, stark as you like, was the difference between acting and a real performance. What a shame the story line went where it did with his character (trying not to spoil anything).
Rating - 6.5. Third best of the three genuine Predator movies. Watchable but hardly memorable. :(
watched this the first night it came out, as a hardcore predator fan i was very impressed. One thing that did annoy me is on the trailer it shows hundreds of predator targets lighting up the main character....in the film only one lights him up so false advertising there.
in rating id give it an 8.5, A LOT better than the ****ty second one but no where good enough to beat the original :)
do you guys know there is storylines written for alien 5 and 6? cameron was going to begin filming a few years back with sigourney weaver but due to the ****e avp films he decided to shelve alien 5 and 6 for now

Aliens is one of the best films I think I've seen, it's so rare the second movie blows away an already amazing original, T2 being another.
I thought alien 3 was brave and also a good film, no weapons was always gonna lose the gun tooting fans straight away. The 4th was ok but could have been better.
