low comp engine

i want to build a spare engine for my 5 and wondered if its worth buildin a low compression engine as my current engine is a standard one.

ive been offered a low comp bottom end at a good price, does the top end need to be low comp set up aswell?

there seems to be mixed veiws in the threads ive searched through so didnt no what route to take, low comp or not????

already been there, not that great for off boost driving

Mines fine off boost driving but very little torque until turbo. But if you're driving off boost and don't need torque for cruising speeds then its fine :)
