I'm trying to track down a wasted spark system for the GTA .Firing order is 1-6-3-5-2-4
and here is how that relates to the block .

Golf VR6 is 1-5-3-6-2-4 but which cylinder are they calling 1 etc ,that is the problem .

unless you have a 120deg V I'm not sure that you can use wasted spark as it'll be an uneven fire engine. I 'm probably wrong though :D

How about using denso COPs used on jap bikes. I almost swapped my 5 over to them early on. Don't mistake them for the crap they use on cars, the bike stuff is quality.

30 degree offset crank innit on the 2.5 Turbo . 2.8 is oddfire though ..90-150 :scratch: The PRV started out as a V8 .

Plug coils £££ ???

I need it to be cheap ;)

Any idea if they are positive trigger or need an ignitor ? We need positive triggering for the Adapt .

swap the leads round :)

Are you looking to run bigger plug gap as well? Need good projector nose plugs on GTA head.

vr6 is a neater package though so just need to determine which is where when and wire it wrong :agree:

yes Z7X 3ltr n/a. I'm trying to remember now, I will go look tomorrow, not here stored down w/shop. It was pretty ugly and bulky, and may have been six individuals (3 per rocker cover), sorry can't picture in my mind, but the junk is down there and will dig it out ;)
