I'm wondering which would be best to purchase? The t2/t25 looks like it's ideal for what I use the car for with it bein a daily driver. Just wondering peoples opinions? What kind of reliable brake are these both capable of?

Cheers. Benj

t2 hybrid daily if you dont do motorways etc come on boost low rpm 1800 - 2200 t25 3k but stays on boost longer i had 160bhp on t2 at 12-14psi with other mods

do you want instant power low down or high midrange power depends where you drive each day and for how long

from what i can gather for a cracking fast road 5 then a t25/t2 hybrid is the best combination

That sounds good to me mate, is 160 about the max it could take? I'd prefer something low lag, depends were I'm driving really, everyday I'd just round the doors, bit of motorway now and then

on a well set up t25/t2 hybrid with other mods you can see 180-190bhp at around 20psi :agree:

Out of interest what boost are you running at the moment?

I got one running 18psi, has impressed a lot of people with its delivery of power. Personally i think boost is still a bit late, 18psi boost by 3400rpm but im sure if you got a nice downpipe and exhaust it would improve on that. Also not all t2/t25 turbos are the same either, different combinations of the 2?

Was that with a t25? It says they have a bit more lag than the t2/t25?

That may well depend on your setup, there is a Raider near me that will do its clock easy on a KTR180 at 18psi :)

quite a few diff specs t25/t2 turbos but ill give you a bit of advice speak to markey mark on here as he gets prob the best one made up for him off adam l :agree:.

as i understand full boost on one of these turbos should come in at 3.4-3.5k which is spot on really

All depends what your power goal is mate really, t2/25 will make a good b road blaster. Full t25 will give you the option for more power in long run but with more lag.

Bout 180ish Briggs? Think the t2/25 is deffo wot I'm after, is there any difference between the ktr 180 and the t2/t25 or they practicaly the same?

Test run down Redcar with some stage 2 boost:D

The KTR180 is basically a T2 with different front wheel on it.

A T25/T2 can have various size wheels and housings so no set size of the turbo, either way better then a KTR180.

T2/25 is the one you want mate, Adam L/turbo developments is your best bet.

The ktr 180 is a bigger comp wheel in a basically stock t2 sized turbo, not worth it really.

Coast road tune ups for the win mate:D

I had a t2/t25 hybrid on my old grey 5 with a 285 cam... turbo kicked in early and the cam allowed the engine to rev high and overall good power, It wasnt a motorway cruiser but had no problems on the motorway... just on boost at 70mph...

My car managed a 14.1 1/4 mile at 99.8mph, so using scoff's rough guide my car had 170-180bhp.

I would recommend the turbo, although personally i am going for a full T25 for my next road legal car.

My next 5 i'd be happy with a bar of boost but not too keen on a turbo that spools up too early like the T2

Thats what i run on the cup car , standard t2 at 16psi , flys, no probs on track etc , i love it, the ktr 180 is fine too , i have used it on ole nicole , a nice little turbo, it depends on the application, i hate big turbos , lag is rubbish , i want the quirky little bite of the oe 5 with a little bit more of a smile and a dash of reliability....:)

what would you guys class as a t2/t2? is it t2 complete back and t25 complete front or is it the t2 with t25 comp wheels?
