hi all just wanted to ask if it was worth getting a tubular manifold for my 5 turbo? or are they a waste of money and time? would be great for some advice. :)

Hi Madfive, I guess they have to be beneficial as it will be less restictive. I think thats the whole point of them. :agree:

As Dawn has said, been discussed on many of occasions and the reasons why its good or bad in the technical section on the site.

Ahh but they had to pay for all the development work then someone just comes along and robs it ;)

had one years ago but it cracked :cry: i do think the standard one sounds better but i like shiney things :wasntme:
Don't know about the ones in the link or can comment on performance, but all i have heard and witnessed in the past is really poor quality.
Morg had one on his raider, we took it off after a week as the welds had blown, it was rubbish. Straight back on with the original

The one in the link is different to what k-tec used to sell, this is what they call their mark 2 manifold. The old one was very bad quality.
Regarding it changing the sound of the standard 5 manifold, they are great if you want to sound like a tractor:D
