Right, took the car off the road last October as I don't use it in the winter, I plan to MOT it in the next few weeks and will Tax it from April ready for the summer and events.

The plan was to tidy up the engine bay and do a little maintenance etc as its the part of the car I'm not happy with. He's a pic of the bay not long after I had the car and besides an attempted clean up (after the photo) the only changes were minor.

My rad on the car has a slight leak so decided to replace it as I had a spare. Only probelm was as I tightened up the last oil line in to the rad, I sheared the thread off inside . Whilst I decided what to do I kinda went to town stripping down the engine as far is I could and cleaning various bits and bobs.

On went a T28 ;), hoses, Cossie front mount, ally carb top, new header tank, new 90 deg leads, powder coated rocker (thanks Dan) followed by a lot elbow grease cleaning what I could without taking the engine and box out.

I've now put it all back together and I'm hoping to get it started this weekend. I havent had a spare 5 to check my pipes / hoses and leads against so have reference a load of photos from the site. Main purpose of the thread is for people to tell me if anything is in the wrong place. I know some clips are missing, I'm short and need to get some the weekend.

Once on the road i'll be getting it set up down at Hi Tech Motorsport (reputable place near to home) to run 17 - 18psi. I have a cam sorted to work better with the T28 but will have to see how things go as getting that fitted is quite a bit beyond my skills.

Yeah, I also know its covered in dust, car needs a damn good clean

I also have 4 hoses I haven't used but can't see anywhere they go? (last pic)

Let me know your thoughts, Thanks, Jay

that is a nice looking bay. What made you go with the blue boost hoses?

Couldn't get a large 45 deg hose in red :(

I came up with a silly excuse instead, in the boost run, red is hot air, blue is cold! :agree:
