Seriously now, does a decent tyre increase ya MPG.

How can it do that?

Some tyres im looking at say thier plus points are Fuel Economy???

Tread pattern is meant to give less rolling resistance, but to what extent i dont know. if its say 5% and the tyre lasts 20000 miles (5% is 1000 miles of extra fuel :D) but i dont know if its any where near that, just showing a minor amount over a long time can make a difference. Better off not coming on boost once a year :D

most electric cars use tyres with less rolling resistance to save power, But what you save in fuel im sure you'd loose in handling. :p

Im not sure Electric cars are going to be using the racing line.

So what is the general rtoc verdict on this in theory?

i would say yes maybe they will but the gains would be so minimul it wouldnt be worth noting tbh im guessing its aimed more at rep car type mileage for companys trying to eek out as much mpg as they can
