View Full Version : Google Maps UK - are you on there?
Just noticed today that Google have uploaded the pictures at street level view they took from around 6-8 months ago in and around my area...
My missus said the google car came down our street at the time but didnt believe her...had a look today and I can my GTT and 172 on the road/driveway :D
Have a butchers...st james close, sn2 7st...dont live there now though :D
Are you or your cars on there too?
Two of my cars are at home, well one I sold on. And my other car is at my work place :)
wow mines cars are on there too, cant believe how clear that is

If you look at tn24 0hy (15 abbey way) you will see my cup car & 307.

Must of been taken a while ago as i've got Kenobi's old 5 outside my house, my mate Nicks old Raider outside garage which was scrapped in late 2008 was scrapped. Plus builders in doing bathroom as all the rubbish is outside! :laugh:

i had the van next to me at work today, funny thing.
My Extra Van is on the drive. That makes it last Summer.

my old black ones sat on the drive..... in the older view my 106 rallyes in it and maybe my old white gtt, but it could be over the roads silver nova, hard to tell..:scratch:

I think my road is too insignificant for 'street view' unless you want to look at Electrolux.
My 5 and KA are on the normal Maps though :) I remember the day too because the people moved in a couple of houses down.

My car is parked at work! Oxfordshire Highways OX14 4EZ! Can just make it out parked up!
Dawn actually found this earlier for me. We've had a Smart car driving around the area for years with some sort of tower camera posted on its roof, which is why the image seems elevated. The image was clearly taken quite some time ago as I sold the Pulsar to Doug about a year and a half ago or more....

Yes, but as I said, I sold that car quite some time ago... November 2008 to be more precise.
The date is a copyright date, it has zilch to do with when it was taken.
Your sisters Polo and mums car make an appearance too Adam. How is is that your drive never seems to look the same from one month to the next? :laugh:

Don't you start. When I told my mum I had a picture of our drive on Google Maps she went into a panic and instantly remarked on it being a tip:rolleyes:
She was quite pleased to see only 3 cars on the drive.
The Polo hasn't seen that drive since December 2008 either, that's been up in Aberdeen with my sister since then.
I'll honestly say i'm quite grateful they haven't taken a picture with 3 of my cars on the driveway, and two of them not having engines in.... I just remembered, it was 4 cars in total...
It was! Your mum is a happier person now that you have cut that down. Technically, you have further engines but let's not go there :D

Wow, I looked about 2 weeks ago and there was no street view of my road, and now its there. It was a nice sunny day too :cool:
Just checked my girlfriend's house... my KA is in 2 places at once :laugh:

i used the juice of love.. i remember one going past me, i just can't remember where i was at the time, if i did i'd have a look at the road.. it might have been on a job while standing on a roof... i'll have a butchers..:scared:

You can see my Clio parked on my Neighbours drive :D
It would appear the Google Maps driver was too miserable to have a drive into my cul-de-sac?
You can see my mates white Astra van, my Volvo turbo Clio and my paxo at the front of the house.
I think these pictures are only one year old, i had better get my finger out and finish the Clio that been a year its been fitted with the Volvo engine:D

Well have moved house in last 8 months and doesn't have pic of my new house with my cars' but it has my old gaff with the the 5 and zafira out the front on it
