carb freeze, temps were getting me a while back, late nights have been chilly..
card board blocking the intercoolers a way to test/sort it till its warmer.. i had done portsmouth to bracknell on the m3 trying to keep the boost on or it was stuttering, but once i pulled off and slowed to 30 & it died, i was stuck for 15 minutes with mine cuz was propper frosty.. :disagree::(
i dont see why it would be carb freeze because it wasnt frezing up here it was pritty warm tbh lol for a change lol.
It's only got an OE intercooler as well hasn't it? I doubt that would get carb freeze, unless it was really cold?
yip oe intercooler.i rekon dirty fuel filter could be the problem.might be wrong but doing a service on sunday so will find out then.

It doesnt have to be below zero degree for carb freeze to occur :)
yeah ano but it was pritty hot windows down tshirt on if you know what i mean lol.
Blocked idle circuit I'd say...... ;)
how would i check if it was a blocked idle circuit tho??

If you are doing a fuel filter change, do the following to stop you loosing loads of fuel.
lift back seats
remove round fuel tank cover
pull off the middle hose
then remove fuel filter
This will mean you only lose the fuel in the line and not try and drain the hole tank;)
Remember and re-fit hose.......as it wont start:D
Chris:)
cheers for that miller.ok let say it was carb freeze for a minute lol how would i stop it from doing that.

Take the idle jet off from the side of the carb and clean it. Then use the straw that the WD40 comes with and squirt it into the idle circuit for about 20 seconds. :)
