Oil cooler next to the rad. No no, get an alloy rad without the oil cooler built in.
what about the copper core one are they any good or is the alloy one better.also is it easy to fit an oil cooler if i was to get a alloy rad??
I can't comment on that exact rad but I bought a peugot 206 GTI allu rad from the same people last week and was really happy with the quality of it. nicely made, nice looking core, it probably just wanted a polish if you into that sort of thing. bargain I thought. (it's twice the size of a GT rad, I got it on a buy-it-now for £75 + delivery)

did u have to get a oil cooler aswell tho?.and how easy did it fit ?
I don't exactly have a GTT engine anymore so don't follow what I've done. I had to cut and shut the subframe a bit to get the 206 one in, it's massave.
well i phoned cgb today to see about getting a new rad not that theres anything wrong with mine well i hope not lol.but it looks a bit old so fanced a new one and wanted to know which was best so the guy at cgb said the oe one or the copper core dont really know what the diffrence is but he seemed to think one with the built in oil cooler was a better choice as u woudent need to mess about fitting a oil cooler
new standard ones work great, problem is they're mega bucks these days. try £120 for a valeo original or maybe a bit less for a copper core one. The ordonez copper core things are notorious for springing leaks, solder falling apart, corroding easilly etc. the original is better. both types have the oil cooler inbuilt.
yeah it was around about that price that cgb was saying.i seen a runncool rad and oil cooler on ebay think it was around £220 not cheap but looked good enuff.only thing is i am a dinosaur about tech stuff like fitting oil cooler etc lol.

I know the chaps who did the silicone hose sets for the 5 also do a standalone alloy radiator which looks similar to the one you posted but then you would need to get a standalone oil cooler as already mentioned.
