Anyone know where you can get the throttle cable ends.

Carb end part?

Just thought i'd ask.

Paul do you know the number for a throttle cable kit??

The throttle cable kit from GSF had several differant end fittings including the right one for the 5.

thats come with a kit then....its a long tube with a flat end....

To get you out of trouble you can use a chocy block (the connectors elections use), strip the plastic outer casing and then put the end of the throttle cable in and screw it down.

I got a better one that that. Get the large pop rivets, pull out the pole from the inside without flattening the end. Then slide the wire through them, and crimp on to wire. Perfect fit and looks like it should be there :)

I do the same thing well its still on me 5 its been there for ages works fine:)

im running a secret mod known to the berkshire massive as the hot iron plug mod... as no chocolate blocks were handy marc aka carcrash and i ripped the brass earth of my hot irons plug and cut it to lenth. i wasn't that keen, but its adjustable, has worked fine for weeks, its cheap (if you have a choccy block or sppare plug) , and i carry a spare.. :cool:
