running with no thermostat

what do people think about running a r5 with no thermostat?

I have run a 5 with no thermostat before... had no issue's, but at the same time Renault put it there for a reason....

Put a good one in & dont worry about it...

I dont use one as one failed on me and cost me a top end rebuild:dearme: Unlike new thermostats these feckers fail shut

i have no overheating problems i was just wondering what people thought or ran on there cars

Alwaya have and will always run one, will always recomend to people to leave the thermostat in too.

Probably not a good idea if you're travelling a lot of short journeys as the oil will struggle to get up to temperature resulting in poor lubrication.
