i moved mine, 1 hose in the top of the header tank had to be cut shorter and the other needed cutting and joining as it goes into the bottom of the tank. easy job to do, make sure the hoses dont rub on bare metal as they go through the scuttle panel.

Hi Marc, nice n tidy looking engine bay! I too am looking to relocate my header tank, any advice and tips you can offer would be much appreciated! Also a couple more pics of your relocated header tank and where you have cut and run the hoses would be really good!!!

Cheers....Jib

Now the cars finished I will take some more for you.
When you drill the inner wing to mount the bracket for the header bottle dont push the drill to hard, or when it passes through the inner wing the dill bit hits the outer wing and will dent it and chip the paint. Once the bottle is in place lay the hoses over the top of the scuttle area so you can mark where you need to cut the hole for them to pass through to get to the header tank. I made the hole larger this time and put edging trim around it so the sharp edge doesn't cut through the water pipes.

The extra Pics, hints n tips about how to do it as neatly as you would be much appreciated Marc.
