Everytime I've not fitted these Ive had a bit of a leak, so I would personaly fit them.

Nice one fella's:agree:

To be honest, i did think some people would and some wouldn't! - Can only pressume that if you are running a serious booooooost'd engine then these would probably be a must...................or maybe not?!:D

Interestingly when I asked at a Renault dealership they said neither were fitted from the factory until 1988, any 5's that came in complaining of leaks had them fitted free of charge, copper versions of course, god forbid renault spending the cash for the stainless jobs

Mines was running standard boost (0.5 bar @ manifold) and was blowing like feck from the turbo elbow, sounded like a tractor. I just could not get it to seal without the gasket.

dose anyone know if these gaskets can be re-used?

I certainly can't claim to know for sure?? - anyone else clarify??

But in my opinion i would say no! - mainly because of warping and "seating" - that is assuming your replacing turbo/manifold etc, for new/reconditioned parts!

I've got stainless steel ones and have used them a fair few times with no problems. :agree:
