well my build is coming back together and il be ready to put my engine back in soon,

i have the following:
piper 285 cam springs pulley
group a carb
L & B flywheel
oversize downpipe and sideexit
font mount intercooler
and standard t2 at the min

next things i was going to get were maybe a t25? and a stainless manifold.

will the standard picstons be ok for this or will i need to forge? also what kinda bhp figures?

Some people say any prolonged use over 1.5 bar and the ringlands will fail but some people have used them at a lot more, including me:)

+1

3 of my pistons are original from the build many miles ago, and 3 of the liners are too, std machined pistons, std liners, std exhaust manifold and 1.9bar :agree:
