I think your right to stop it, but be warned they both could start on you, claim that you were the agressive person..
She could defend him in the court of law and you could be the one in the sh*t....
PC b*llsh*t that stops most people getting envolved "its not my problem etc etc "

I'd say yes you are without a doubt, however....from my experience when people get involved doing what anyone would think is the right thing it usually ends up bad on them.

I did this outside a night club a few years ago, only for them both to turn on me, resulting in the girl trying to boot me to death. never again.:sad2:
loving the replys... now put your self in this position.... the bird turns on you after the fellas on the deck.... starts f'in and blah blah and thumps you...
Response ''treat me like a man i'll treat you like one''
Is that a threat?

It's a tough one. I've seen guys get beaten up by eager "heroes" for just defending themselves from nutty slags.... and, on the flip side, there's women beating assholes out there who don't think twice about hitting their girlfriends.
If it was me, I'd probably lurk in the background and make sure I was totally justified in getting involved before jumping in.

personally i dont know if i could but i have heard the expression so many times before "if she can punch like a man, she can take like one too"
never been in that situation but i would stop a man hitting a woman most likely
"if she can punch like a man, she can take like one too"
Sounds like my ex wife
I often had to restrain her from taking it out on some poor sod .Drink is nearly always involved in these incidents .You ,them and others so best to just keep out :agree:
lamps here, if it was me id leave it unless he was propper going at it, on the other hand if a girl punches me, sorry but if it felt like a blokes punch id knock her teeth out. - That doesnt mean id go all muhammad ali on her btw guys, that just means give her a one bomb.
a slap on the other hand id prob let the first one go for free the 2nd one she'd get one back.
My mrs punches like a bloke, and shes always doing it to my arms so i do it back she soon gets the idea :cooter:
I've jumped in twice in these situations over the years, the 1st time it was one of the so called local hardmen & that resulted in 10 of them coming to the pub the next night where I was working the door to 'try' to give me a slap  They surounded me & the little gob****e ducked under from nowhere & smacked me in the mouth then dissapeared
The 2nd time the guy got me involved, I wasn't even going to say anything as it looked handbags stuff, then he turns to me & says 'ooo there's your boyfriend, why don't you get him to help you' didn't even know them  so I said' don't get me involved in this' which prompted him into ripping a fence panel off & coming at me with it... as he got to me wielding said fence panel I just grabbed it really fast out of his hands, the look on his face was priceless... just before he turned & ran ... I followed him & gave him a slap for his troubles... then got an ear bashing off his missus :sad2:
So I hardly ever get involved now unless it looks propper nasty, I certainly think twice about getting involved.:dearme:
& if hit by a woman I'd leave it, if she carried on then I'd have to try to restain her or walk away, it's just not the done thing to hit a woman, even if she is bigger than you & hits like Tyson... Just IMO.
