r5 alternator to fit volvo engine

what has to be done to get the r5 alternator to fit the volvo engine? Is it a case of fitting a gtx or volvo bracket or can a standard r5 bracket be used? Any help appreciated!

use the volvo alternator its much easier and a better set up :)

The R5 GTT alternator pulley is a V band single track type were as the volvo one for 1.7 turbo would prob be a 5 or 6 track matey.

Ditch the R5 Alternator and get yourself a volvo jobby no point fecking about with the R5 starter.
