Thats about 20psi, think thats abit more then i'd be running through a standard T2.

Its not about how long the turbo will last its how effective it will work at that boost pressure, at that pressure not too well.

I recon charge temps will be quite high as your be working the turbo too hard, best off either running slightly less boost or fitting another turbo with a larger front end on it.

k well.. for wat its worth... my bro ran a t2 for a few months at 17-18 psi.... then 20 but then it broke... but it definatly goes faster lol :cooter:

miles to much for a t2 you want 16psi max really as been stated the charge temps will be quite high and the turbo wont last long, if you want go more than 16psi upgrade the turbo fella

First post!

i ran with 5th injector for fuelling, straight through exhaust, straped intercooler and 15psi,that was fine i tried to take the t2 to 17psi but the inlet temps where running so high that the first pull on the dyno was registering 170bhp and the second pull was nose diving to 120bhp same boost because of heat soak in the std intercooler give it some time to dissipate and the power would go up once more. so 20psi def to much even with alloy intercooler!!

:agree: Been a topic many times. 16psi max on the standard T2.
