hes lookin at a turbo upgrade, can any1 suggest another turbo (poss from another car) apart from the k03s and k04 ?

poss evo fmic and make up the pipe work ourselfs

the car is fairly std at the mo with carbonario air box/filter and cat bk exhaust

any suggestions and tips would be great to help us get to this target ;)

a cheap-ish upgrade to those would be an IHI VF34, from a subaru.

no idea, but loads of 20v turbo owners seem to use them, for whatever reason. the VF34 will deal with 300hp OK.

I think the VF34 is from the STi's (can't remember which year) so easily flow enough for 300bhp.

custom exhaust manifold and down pipe will be needed a Vf34 is from the STI version of the impreza. Possible to produce 320Bhp at 1.2 Bar.

A very nice turbo but one that i am afraid all the lads with WRX impreza liek to upgrade too as its a NON laggy Turbo spool is very good. Thus meaning £300/£350 for one of these.

The other option is a TD05 Turbo that again will produce 320BHP and you can get them for around £100. Older but if your on a Budget then its a good option.
