what does this warning light mean?

hi there hopefully some 1 can help ive had 18 gtts but never seen this light before i was driving my gtt.
on the intrement pannel were the speedo clocks are in the top right hand corner
a orange light cam on with a circle in the middle has any 1 ny idea wht this means?

sounds like the brake wear indicator have a look at the brake pads to see if a wire is connected as the pads might be getting a bit low and cause the light to come on as the wire is then earthed throgh the disc.

my brake discs and pads are brand new uprted red stuff discs n pads done less than 50 mile must have water or something it it thanx for the help

is the wire connected to the pads if not t cold be touching the car some where. and causing the light to come on. or as the pads have just been done it has not been pushed in and come out.

Did your new pads have a brake wear wire coming off one on each side? If not where is the loos wire?

when i fitted the pads i always chop the wear indicator wires off on the car side the wires are probly moveing about and touching the car thanx for every 1s help ill tape them up:)
