ive got a apex 50mm kit fitted but with the 1.8 16v f7p fitted. its lower than before, because of being heavier. is it ok to just stick with this setup.

How has the extra weight affected the handling Mat?

I would imagine the car will "feel" nose heavier if that makes sense but then it's a case of learning how to drive the car with the new setup :)

Matt with the red 5 who has an F7P fitted, I think, would probably be the best person to talk to :p

drives nice, i just have a little nocking coming from the drivers side strut, its got a new top hat on there and the springs not cracked think the doughnut is a little squashed whne the car stationary and i give the car a push on that side of the engine bay i get a little nock, think il get some new doughnuts. as for how it drives love the 16v when it gets going, decated with a scorpion system and filter roars.:)

brakes still work as good as ever, if not better with more weight over the front wheels.

Higher poundage springs?

Springs and dampers should be matched really, no good sticking massive poundage springs on standard dampers.....but, as a road car, try getting hold of some lowered 172 front springs these would work ok on GTT dampers.
