Moving stuff about to make room for more stuff :crap:
I need to get this started so I can unblock the drive and garage
5294
Then I can get rid of this and make room for something to go in its place .
5292
Then I have to shift this lot to the right so I can get another up the drive and into the dry ....Luckily JIL is balanced nicely on a bread trolley now so it just rolls about :smokin:
5293
Then put them all back together :scared:

Apart from spending time with the Mrs and my 4 kids I am hopefully going to have a play with the 5 after lowering her I am having some sidey scrappage problems so need to look into raising the side exit centre box. So will hopefully be spending a few hours under the 5 and also putting some stronger / shorter coilover springs on the spax RSX shocks aswell.

How much does a reasonable GTA go for these days Clee?

Sorry Alastair ,only just noticed your question .
5k will get you a very good one ,3k for a reasonable one with MOT . Beware though ,a bargain can soon turn into an extra 2/3k in the blink of an eye .
They suffer from rot in the wrong places and a clutch is £1000 fitted as the subframe needs dropping ...if you go to the usual suspects ;)
Main issue is the lack of parts and prices to suit .Body panels are cheap secondhand but a lot of the wear and tear bits are GTA specific ..£110 for a track rod end ...£100 each for rear suspension bushes and there are 12 needed :crap:

They are a bargain though if you get a good one and there is always someone that knows what to look out for ;)

Im going to fire up the cup car tomorow after putting the engine back in last weekend. I resealed the sump and timing chain cover as they were leaking badly. I also need to fit another rad fan motor as the old one packed up. Might treat the ph1 to a wash aswell

Hmm, wonder just where you got that rad fan.....;), you may just have to offer your services on the "new"...uhh hum...car....:)...;)
