I have a small ALDI compressor and airgun, bought it last year. No identifying marks.

Did a bit of digging, it's made in Northern Ireland, and sells retail at £70 more than I paid for it.

SO, cheap, yes, but good? Hell yeah. I use it a lot. Don't discount these winches. Or anything from China these days really, they have came on leaps and bounds in quality of goods from even two years ago.

I use a lot of my Dads Aldi power tools, and they are good.

Are you talking about the electric winches or the compressor I have?

The winches will pull the stated weight and above due to the safety factor built in, and the compressor has done everything from spray small panels to provide enough grunt via the airgun to take off loctited bolts and the usual tyre inflation duties.

For a home/hobby guy, win-win.

I'm not saying the winches shown are good or bad but don't be put off by their size. I use tiny winches up 40 and 120ft towers on 12v motors and they will lift nearly a ton with very small cables. Stick within the rating and you will be fine.
