if im runnin a 2 1/4 inch downpipe would it be better to have the turbo elbow machined to match that. any one got any pics of the size differences

To be honest machining out the oe cast elbow would be pointless as you won't get much of it Thus pretty much no gain in doing it. I would either look into a custom 90degree elbow or an all in one2.25" 2.5" downpipe like the big Jim downpipe. What would be good is if someone could make a big bore elbow to fit a big bore downpipe ;);) Big Jim
