removing subframe how too?

When removing the subframe is there any way i can do this with the steering components in tact? I want to drop the subframe out with engine and gearbox still in place but dont want to have to remove the steering rack is this atall poss?

rack is bolted to subframe so can stay right where it is no problem there mate.
wont affect anything.

Undo the bolt on the UJ that connects the columm to the rack
