I had the massive garage and driveway for potential projects until 6 weeks ago :( Aah well 1 of those things otherwise there'd have been a 5 shell or extra van sitting in there. Almost tempted to rip out the complete 172 lump etc if i found a 5 shell then sell on the rest of the Clio shell intact.

if i was going to use an extra van alot, i would think about the 1.8 16v lump if i had one kicking about or the volvo..

I can use the van for work being a carpenter, then track it 172 style :smokin:

I think the only thing i'd get stuck on sorting out is the exhaust manifold.... wiring..... :ashamed: :D

Ahh the 172, have a go in mine, completely standard car other than the slight lowering springs, really really good drive out of the box :)

Yeah thats the idea mate, if i get one may even leave it Diesel power (criminal as it is) although i recon a Clio/19 16v engine could find its way in there!! :D

Yeah plan is to have standard 172 mate, maybe set of springs but thats it. Looking for a facelift model, like the look of the later one.
