View Full Version : Maxi Body Kit, any ideas where to get one?
First post!
Hey guys, I am getting plans together to build a project car, and it involves the maxi kit fitted to the early r5's. I'm having trouble finding any places that sell them :(, can anyone help? cheers fellas :)
You want a mk1 5 to look like a turbo 1 or 2 basicly.. well the maxi version.
Bang it into google see what pops up ??

Cheers sparkie, but i read on that link that fastcarspares is a no no at the moment :(, have you or anyone else had dealings with him?
he has been in business a while, so i dunno if it was just one persons opinion. i've never used him as i never crashed my old t2.
thinking about it, you might need to speak to Gav from Frome in somerset, he has his fingers in many t2 pies. - i can PM you his number if you want?

Did he not go and collect a maxi kit from France with Bruce?
maybe, but he's definately the man to ask.

I'm not sure the wheels are in the same place in the fwd R5, the maxi and the super production. I seem to recall that there was a T2 'style' kit for the fwd R5.
