which rad ???

Is it the renault 5 diesel rad that fits in place of the standard GTT item but without the oil cooler built in ???? does the pipework remain the same ??

Ive seen Raj uses the renault extra van rad but this lookes a little bigger and would foul the OE intercooler???

I think the 1.6d extra rad is the one you need, the 1.9d is too big. The rad is wider so no idea wether the std cooler will fit with it?

I don't think standard cooler goes in anymore. Diesel rad is about 8cm wider.

I take it you would have to lengthen the top hose then?

yeah its longer has a filling point at the top and you need to lengthen the top hose and the standard intercooler wont fit. got 1 in the garage thats up for sale soon if ya interested in it

shame about the standard intercooler not fitting with the diesel rad, wasnt aware of that. Going to have to fork out for a valeo rad for the cup after all. Dont much fancy one of the ASI ally rads, not a great fan of them

Yea, true, they're around the £150 mark now aren't they?

Look on eBay, I found an oe valeo rad for an r5gtt, for around £90-£100 a few weeks back.

Might be worth a sniff :D
