starting to put my car back together, when i saw this repay has had its wires cut and soldered.. must of been done before i had the car, i never ran the car when i had it so not sure if runs with the wires the way they are.

does this matter? do i need to change it?

what relay is that for. where abouts in the bay would it sit...:)

its the loom that goes from the heater box in the car to the outside, to washer bottle, im think that the plug goes to the aei unit? not sure though been a long while since i removed it from the car

Mine does not have those yellow cables... pop it all together if it works winner if not at least its accsessable.

wel just thought id check before i put it in, but if its easy enough to get to then should be alright..

check how easy it is to get to before putting all bits back in, i wouldnt wanna get it wrong then you suffer

will do wel havnt started puttin my engine and interior back in yet but when it comes it it i will.. i was just re taping the loom wiring to make them all fresh and checking the connections etc

Thats the relay for the AEI unit mate.

The wire that is cut could be the main 12v or ign 12v supply, could of had an alarm cut into it in the past possibly

will it be ok the way it is? it was already soldered and taped up i didnt remove any other wires from it.. i dont need to connect the two yellows back to anywhere?

markey mark beat me too it... its for the relay that (should) sit on the passenger side of the bonnet latch bit, and powers the AEI, and correct me if i'm wrong but linked into the overboost circuit i believe?
