zetec into a ford KA...

anyone got any info or experience on this?

from what i understand there are only 4 wires to connect up, 1x engine mount and PAS to remove

iv had a look through afew ford sites and this is about the only ka with a zetec i can see....

thanks fella, i've found out the ka has the PATS immobiliser, and so does the escort gti donor car, i think i'm going to have 2 run 2x ecus because the KA's heater uses a funny valve controlled via the cars ecu.

i hate fords

i wish, its my girlfriends car... i dont want to a) be single due to a big accident or b) have a slower car than her

only reason we are going for silvertop zetec is that we've got engine, box, loom, dials, brakes, ecu etc from a mk6 1.8 gti all for £150

cheers dude, bookmarked that the other day, along with another one, think autodata and an a4 notepad may be the best way to solve the wiring woes :confused:

There's been quite a few done so there's a lot of advice out there.
The wiring does look pretty fun though :laugh:
