Took my carb off yesterday and thought i felt something drop so had a nosey round and luckily noticed this!

It got me thinking if anyone has known anything go through an engine? :D

Saw a clio RSI with a random air filter bolted to the top of the carb with three bolts, except one bolt was missing, the horrible valve meeting with metal sound indicated where it had gone

Not long after id bought my 5 i was doing some work on it, took the air filter off and found a jubilee clip inside there, must of been in there for atleast a year. makes me wonder how many times it had come close to leaping in to the turbo lol

It was clinging on to the inside of the air filter for dear life! :eek:
