I know the mixture screw is prone to snapping! I'm just in the process of overhauling my carb for the first time and think my mixture screw has snapped.
Took the screw out and would have thought you should be able to see through the hole but looks like part of the screw is stuck in the bottom. If anyone could just confirm this for me please?

Also the plastic bush on the throttle shaft is slightly worn so are these availible to buy or shall i get on lathe? Cheers in advance guys! :cool:

Yp that has snapped! You can warm the body with a blow torch and try tapping it out but they are a pain to do.

Thanks for the replies chaps! Bummer! :crap: Oh well i'll take it to work tomorrow and sort it.

As for the link to the plastic bush, it says the bush is not included. I already have the green seals as i got my kit from the club shop. Its the plastic bush thats about 10mm long that im after.

So you did, my bad.

Do you have access to a lathe to make one? I reckon I might have a spare one in an my carb 'bits' box.

Yeah I have a lathe and should have a bit of nylon lying around.
Was just being lazy so thought if i could buy one cheap enough i would.
I'll just make one and stop being lazy!:ashamed:
