Does anyone know if Raider carpet is still available from renault and for how much, was going to get some second hand grey carpet and dye it black as trying to find a mint carpet will be rather hard to get. IF nobody knows ill just ring renault tomorrow.

You love them radar carpets, i can sell you the back half of one cheap;)

If they still sell them be prepared to fork out over £200 i recall them being stupidly expensive

All we need is a part number :) well my renault parts department aren't that bad really so might be able to sort it out with them.

Ill post up a price tomorrow when I get a chance to ring them.

Sold my one at ND, the only mark on it was were the clutch pedal had been pressed down. The last time I inquired at Renault they were £280 +vat

You do know you can get very high quality reproductions made by a specialist trimmer for less than Renault charge?

Thicker carpet and it fits as well as the Renault item.

I know some one who had a new carpet made up for his 3 door Cosworth, and it was cheaper than Ford and a huge amount better in quality.

If I needed one, I'd go that route.

Was just discussing that over tea. You know who they got to do the carpetting for the cosworth? ill search the net some time tonight to see if i can find any local places which may be able to do this.

Very similar as just need a bit of trimming to get to fit properly. Does it look like it should be there? or is the carpet raised up where it should etc etc. as this could be helpful as Id just need to source one of those :)

Was a local guy/one man band company that he got it from as the same guy did a retrim on the rear seat with all the burn holes that were in it, but the retrimmer said he gets them made to a pattern from a company in Manchester I'm sure.

I'll drop him an e-mail and ask him.

bigfoot,,

i trimmed mine as i have no rear seats, but it will go under the rear ones as the gtt carpet does, It sits perfectly on the raised channels for the seat runners and looks as if it should be there

There are 2 extra holes but they are covered by the front seats, sure a local scrappy would do you one for a tenner and its well worth a go
